January 29th - school has started again.  I'm in my first week of my second semester.
I am preparing mentally at this point.  I want to stay focused this semester and refrain from doing anything that will make it harder for me to get good grades and get my work done.

I have been sober from alcohol all week and I want to continue that into the semester.
I might end up just staying sober for the entire semester if I can.
I want to continue to meditate and exercise as well.

I'm about to have my first cup of coffee in like three days.  Here we go.
My cat is sitting on the printer beside me watching me type.
Everytime I'm at my parents house I become inspired to post a blog.

Now that I have my own place, I can appropriately channel my energy in a creative way.
I can meditate without distraction.
I can make music and other art.

I think it took a while to convert that old apartment into "my place", but I think I have successfully done it.
Will I choose to continue living there after my lease expires?
It depends on how close I am to finishing school and if living with friends is an option.
Because the way I see it - I'll be out of the state of Wisconsin by the end of 2015.  Hopefully.
As soon as I get my degree I'm out of here.
And I do not plan on saving up much money before leaving.
If I have to, I will live out of my car until I land a decent job.

My ideal plan would be to live in Colorado for a while out of my car and just explore Denver, Boulder and other spots.
Hopefully I will have some money saved so I can have some fun.
When funds run out I'll start looking for jobs that would correspond to my degree.

I know I can do decent work and would be willing to put it all on the line and risk failure.
My dream job?  Working in a private home studio editing audio with artists who are not very well-known and going on a journey with them to become a well known hip hop group with good beats and engineering.
I don't want to work for a big corporation, necessarily.  Maybe in the beginning to save up some money, but not forever.  I want to break off and start my own business.
I want to meet people who are capable of creating some good art.
I will continue with my musical endeavors as well.  I will continue writing and recording on a frequent basis so I don't become rusty.
I can't lose sight of my own personal goal: becoming a successful recording artist.

I also don't want to lose track of another goal of mine: becoming a successful performer in standup comedy and other acting endeavors.
If I did standup comedy, I would start off in Denver and work my way eventually to the Comedy Store in LA.  There's something about that place that makes me want to become a comedian or a "paid regular" as they call it.
I think the comedy scene is what I miss most about LA.  That and the dispensary scene.
Comedy and marijuana are such a beautiful combo.

It's just another winter day in Wiscompton.
Thank you to those of you who have read my blogs and listened to my podcasts.

Alex Buratti here with you once again.  It has been a minute since my last blog post on this site at least.
What have I been up to?  I've been chillin, man.
I finished my first semester at tech school (working toward my audio engineering certificate and an associates degree in digital media technology), which I love, by the way.
I have learned so much about music production, recording, sound and editing.  I also learned how to write scripts and next semester I'll be diving into image and video editing.
By the end of this year, I want to have a music video and a series of video podcasts out there on the interwebs.
Maybe a short film.

Last night I watched the film American Beauty with Kevin Spacey.
That is seriously the best movie I have seen in a long time.
If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it.  (It's on Netflix).
In my last podcast, I talked about fluoride and GMO's.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

I am still trying to refrain from drinking fluoridated water, but it's hard.  I have to go to the grocery store and fill up gallon jugs of reverse osmosis h2o and I use about a gallon a day.  So I'm at the grocery store quite a bit.  The refills are only 39 cents, but over a year, that adds up to about 140 bucks, give or take.
Right now I'm too lazy to drive all the way to the store so I'm drinking regular filtered water (which is probably fluoridated).

I'm going to see how I feel when I drink regular water compared to reverse osmosis water.  At this point I am truly convinced that there is no reason whatsoever for fluoride to be in the municipal water supply.  They say it's good for your teeth but it has been proven to cause brain damage.  Maybe I'm just imagining this, but I'm currently feeling my pineal gland shutting down.

I don't even use fluoridated toothpaste, so why would I drink fluoride water, motherfuckers?

Last night I watched a 2 hour video of Stewart Swerdlow talking all about our reptilian ancestors, the Illuminati, the New World Order, Atlantis and Mu the lost continents, and much more.  If you want to check it out, here it is.

School doesn't start back up for another two weeks or so, so hopefully I'll get another couple of songs done in the meantime.
I have just released another new song, check out my soundcloud

My music is definitely getting better and evolving as I grow.
I need better equipment but in the meantime I do well with what I have.
Looking forward to the second semester of audio engineering where I'll be recording live rock bands.
Should be exciting.

I hope everyone is having a great day and if you want to communicate with me or if you have any questions at all , PLEASE feel free to email me!  alexbugatti@me.com
